Forester Estate is a family owned winery situated on Wildwood Road, Yallingup, in the northern Margaret River region.
Built in 2002, Forester Estate is a new generation winery that strives to showcase the distinct regional characters of northern Margaret River fruit.
The winery houses the best of new technology which is coupled with proven traditional winemaking techniques to ensure the exceptional quality grown in the vineyard is preserved in the finished product.
Forester Estate Wines
Showing concentrated and complex aromas, the wine initially shows a more fragrant bouquet of rosehip, violets, red currants and black forest cake. With time in the glass, the wine opens up to show dusty blackcurrant, dark earth, cocoa and bay leaf characters. The savoury, cedar oak is extremely well integrated and balanced, complementing the fruit perfectly.
Full with super-fine tannins and great texture, this wine builds in the mouth with time. Dusty earth, cocoa and concentrated dark fruits of blackberry and blackcurrant are held together by a firm tannin structure, with a finish that is long and seamless.
Drinking well now but will develop further in the bottle through until 2023.

Citrus fruit with a combination of fleshy stone fruit and an obvious use of classy French Oak. Fresh lemon and lime zesty mouthfeel transitions into layers of complexity including subtle lees stiring. This is complimented by French Oak adding balance to the structure and texture but with minimal impact on aroma and flavour, characterising the Forester Estate elegant style.

The firm and elegantly textured palate is held together by lovely fine grain tannins that make this wine very approachable now. Spice and roasted characters dominate with the fruit playing a background roll, making this a more complex style of Shiraz.
This brooding and complex wine shows aromas of smoke, roasted coffee, aniseed, camphor and well integrated toasty oak. There are underlying dark fruits of plum and boysenberry with a subtle mix of white and black pepper.

A fuller style that has great texture and freshness with dried herbs and citrus at the forefront. The wine finishes long and clean with lingering herbaceous characters and mineral acidity.
A slightly more serious style showing clean and focused characters of citrus, nettles, dried herbs and flint, with a touch of smoke adding complexity from partial barrel fermentation in one year old oak barriques.
Pair with grilled salmon with leeks or goats cheese

Ripe and intense aromas of white peach, gooseberry and passionfruit. There is a lime and floral component which lifts the aromatics, along with typical herbaceous characters of grass and thyme.
A long and textured palate with refreshing acidity. Showing ripe fruits of white peach, nectarine and passionfruit with fresh citrus characters. There are hints of grass and thyme with a long crisp finish.

Ripe boysenberry, raspberry and red berries with well balanced subtle savoury oak, aniseed and pepper.
Full and textured palate with fine grain tannins and a structure that is approachable. Juicy ripe black fruits dominate with shavings of milk chocolate, pepper and aniseed.

This is a brooding wine that is concentrated and lifted showing fruit characters of plum and blackberry with choc mint, pepper and cedar.
A dense and lush palate that is loaded with dark fruits showing hints of spice and cedar. The tannin structure is fine and velvety with a long chocolaty finish. Serious and powerful.

Rich and complex, showing good concentration with sweet earth, currants, blueberries and red berries. The cedar oak is well balanced and integrated. There is a lifted perfumed character reminiscent of potpourri along with classic Margaret River dusty/leafiness.
The palate is full with a fleshy texture provided by Merlot along with a fine grain tannin firmness provided by the Cabernet. Sweet berries and currants dominate with more complex notes of dusty earth, leaf and cedar oak. The wine finishes firm with lingering currant and red berries.

A clean and inviting bouquet with lifted strawberries and rosehip complimented by complex and rich yeast derived autolysis characters of bread and cream. Spice and cinnamon melds perfectly together to provide finesse, richness and complexity.
The crisp and seductive palate is light and creamy with sweet strawberry and spice. Richer yeast derived characters of pie crust provide complexity and softness, while retaining finesse from the fine mousse which adds life to the palate. This lush and refreshing sparkling wine has a long strawberry finish.

Full and textured palate with fine silky tannins. Once again, black current and bay leaf flavours dominate with underlying red berry and milk chocolate notes. This wine is drinking well now, with great integration of fruit and oak and a good mix of primary fruit and secondary aged characters.
Concentrated with lifted floral characters. This wine has all the hallmarks of classic Margaret River cabernet with black current, wet earth, leather, dusty cocoa and bay leaf. The cedar oak is well integrated along with complex cigar box and espresso characters.
This wine suits the classics. Try with matured hard cheeses, rosemary infused lamb or rare beef fillet steak.
