Margaret River Wines

Citrus fruit with a combination of fleshy stone fruit and an obvious use of classy French Oak. Fresh lemon and lime zesty mouthfeel transitions into layers of complexity including subtle lees stiring. This is complimented by French Oak adding balance to the structure and texture but with minimal impact on aroma and flavour, characterising the Forester Estate elegant style.

A slightly more serious style showing clean and focused characters of citrus, nettles, dried herbs and flint, with a touch of smoke adding complexity from partial barrel fermentation in one year old oak barriques. A fuller style that has great texture and freshness with dried herbs and citrus at the forefront. The wine finishes long and clean with lingering herbaceous characters and mineral acidity.

Traditional Margaret River shiraz aromas of red berries and cherries with extra interest in the form of liqueur chocolate and a hint of fragrant spice. A friendly, medium weight Shiraz with juicy sweet red fruit to start gently merging with the structural oak components through the mid palate. A slightly cool spice quality also runs through the wine contributing some elegance and length.

A fragrant bouquet where the aroma of dried flowers wafts above enticing strawberry shortcake and mixed berries. Subtle yeast derived aromas reminiscent of warm brioche add a further degree of attraction.
